About EKO PLASCO
Eko Plasco helps for breaking the Plastic Wave by closing the loop on solid and flexible plastic waste. We operates from the west coast in Sri Lanka to Collect and Segregate various types of Post-Consumer and Post-Industrial recyclable wastes.
As a sustainability focus organization, we monetize from various types of recyclable wastes while improving the lives of those who collect them, with a great story and even to creates a better environmental footprint.
Every day, 150+ collectors are being engaged with the collection activities in the region and exchange this for bonus that help basic family necessities like groceries, cooking fuel, meals educational tools and medicine.
Building an ethical recycling ecosystems in the region and preparing Traceable recyclable raw materials for global recycle products are some of the key objectives of the Eko Plasco operations.

“To increase the regional recycling rate from 10% to 40% by 2025. Every day, we come to work to collect and convert all available recyclables in the region in to a value added raw material for our customer productions in a sustainable way”

Our Impact Zone
Since we launch in May 2021, we work closely with local communities to minimize the plastic waste pollutions.
Eko Plasco actively operates in 8 main towns in the Western province across a range of cleaning the environment including beach cleanups, street cleanups and incentivizing collectors , all while providing sustainable livelihoods and opportunities to the people around the west coast in Sri Lanka through productive awareness programs.
